A 15-year-old accused of shooting and killing a homeless man for fun will stay locked up.
Timothy Chavez and 17-year-old Anthony Gallegos are accused of shooting Ronnie Ross 12 times in the back near the Crowne Plaza Hotel last month.
The two then allegedly bragged about it at a party.
Wednesday Chavez was in adult court after prosecutors asked that he remain locked up because he is a danger.
Judge Briana Zamora agreed that he be held until trial.
