The Attorney General wants Albuquerque to be more digitally literate.
A joint partnership between the city, Comcast, and tech support company “Teeniors” is bringing a series of free workshops to Albuquerque.
The series kicked off Wednesday at the Barelas Senior Center.
It aims to teach older New Mexicans and New Mexicans with young children how to safely access online information and services.
“We want people to use the internet but we want to help them improve their internet hygiene and internet protocol in order to protect themselves as best possible,” said Senior Comcast Vice President David Cohen.
Workshops will take place at the senior centers across the metro and will be available online.
