Suspects connected to Albuquerque gun store thefts arrested

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Two more suspects have been arrested in connection to a pair of Albuquerque gun store thefts.

In December 2016, four men were seen on surveillance video breaking into Warrior’s Edge Armory and Butch’s Gun Shop. Paul Martinez, 19, was arrested shortly after and Reymundo Lucero was already in the Metropolitan Detention Center on other charges.

Adrian Alderete, 17, was picked up a week ago, and Anthony Montano was arrested after a SWAT call Tuesday at an apartment complex near Louisiana and Gibson.

All four are believed to be part of a violent juvenile gang that’s been linked to crimes across the city.
