One of the suspects in the murder of two Albuquerque teens is scheduled to be in court Thursday.

Jimmie Atkins is still not charged in connection to the shooting deaths of Ahmed Lateef and Collin Romero. Officials say Atkins was originally arrested in connection to an unrelated armed robbery.

Atkins was booked and then released. Law enforcements prime suspect in the double homicide, 19-year-old Stephen Goldman remains behind bars.

Last month, Goldman, who was also arrested on the same unrelated armed robbery charges as Atkins, pleaded guilty to those charges. Goldman is set to go before a judge later this month.
