ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A busy road will be closed due to renovations at the Sunport.
Starting on Monday, Girard will be closed south of Gibson.
This means there will be no access to the parking lots or the aircraft viewing area from that point.
The closure is expected to last 45 days south of Sunport Boulevard and 120 days north of Sunport Boulevard.
The closure is part of the renovation of the old north/south runway into retail space.
