A wanted murder suspect is in jail Sunday morning after Albuquerque police caught up with him. Police said Michael Hall, 18, and another man robbed and shot two others at a house on Indiana street near Gibson last November. One of the men, Ervin Gallas, died. Hall is on a quarter million dollar bond at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Albuquerque police are investigating a shooting that happened at a Circle K on Saturday night around 8. They said they arrested a shooting suspect, but were not able to find who he shot at.

The Chaves County Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting in Roswell. According to the Plains Valley Online News, deputies were called out to the 4700 block of Cass Road just after 8 p.m. Deputies say they found a man dead when they arrived. They have not identified him yet.

The APS school board will choose the district’s next superintendent this week. There are 6 candidates, two from New Mexico, two from California and two from Texas. They will all participate in public forums next week and the board will makes a final decision after that.
