Fire crews are battling a fire that has spread from New Mexico to two other states.

The New Mexico State Forestry Division says the Stateline Fire started Thursday on private property north of Clayton.

Since then, it’s grown to more than 26,000 acres, with about 16,000 acres in the state.

It has also spread into Colorado and Oklahoma.

Containment remains at 40 percent. More than 100 fire crews are fighting the blaze.
