ESPANOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – A man is behind bars and charged with an open count of murder for killing another man in Espanola.

New Mexico State Police say on Monday, 67-year-old William Jimerson was found shot to death by his neighbors.

Police say the man, Gabriel Sanchez, had been threatening to kill Jimerson.
