Don’t be surprised when you see a pack of dogs roaming the State Fair.
A team of therapy dogs and their handlers from Animal Protection of New Mexico and the Southwest Canine Corps of Volunteers will be greeting fair attendees and teaching people the appropriate way to approach a dog.
Just like last year, there will also be a sensory zone for autistic children who can read to the therapy dogs and cuddle with them.
The fair starts on Thursday, Sep. 6 and runs through Sunday, Sep. 16.
