Southwest Airlines is now offering another option for people traveling to the Bay Area.
The airline is starting daily nonstop service to San Jose.
City leaders say they expect the move will spur economic development since it offers a more convenient connection between Albuquerque and the Silicon Valley.
Service starts in August.
