ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A rude awakening landed an Albuquerque man behind bars.
According to the criminal complaint, 21-year-old Michael Chavez Jr. was so annoyed by his father’s alarm clock going off, Chavez Jr. attacked his father.
Police say Chavez Jr. went into his father’s bedroom screaming at him, then punched him in the head twice and hit his arm with a baseball bat.
Police say the father thought his arm was broken because he couldn’t move it.
Chavez Jr. is facing several charges.
