Parking at the Albuquerque Zoo will be harder to come by this summer.
Starting Monday, crews will be adding carport-style solar panels to its parking lot. During construction, officials suggest arriving early as parking will be more limited.
The project is estimated to save nearly $102,000 annually in electric costs. It is also expected to be complete by December.
