Small earthquake recorded in Los Alamos


LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – A small earthquake rattled the Los Alamos area Tuesday.

A Los Alamos National Lab seismologist recorded the 1.5 magnitude quake just before 10:30 a.m.

There are no reports of any damage. Officials say the area experiences this type of seismic activity roughly once every three to five years.
