Silent disco takes place at UNM

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A first-of-its-kind take on homecoming at the University of New Mexico Thursday night.

“Silent Lights” took place across from Zimmerman Library. It’s a silent disco, modeled after the widely popular silent disco sweeping Europe.

A silent disco is where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones rather than using a speaker system.

Three different DJ’s, were there playing three different types of music and it all took place in front of a five story video projection.
