Shelter in place issued for Hoover MS, John Baker ES due to police activity

Albuquerque Public Schools have issued a shelter in place for two schools due to police activity in the area.

Thursday, Hoover Middle School and John Baker Elementary School are in a shelter in place as the result of a police investigation in the area. APS has announced that as a result of the investigation, students who usually walk home from Hoover Middle School will need to be picked up in the parking lot of the Holiday Park Community Center.

Buses for Hoover will run as normal.

There is no other information available at this time.
