DURANGO, Colo. (KRQE) – Crews in Durango had quite the mess to clean up after a clogged sewer line spewed about 2,000 gallons of waste from a manhole.
According to The Durango Herald, about seven bundles of fibrous roots caused Monday morning’s clog. Vacuum trucks sucked up as much of the runoff as possible from a culvert.
None of the waste made it to the Animas River.
