ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– There’s a search underway in northern New Mexico for a missing husky who belongs to a family already dealing with a tragedy.
A Colorado family was traveling along I-25 through Santa Fe Tuesday morning when they got into a bad rollover crash.
One of their dogs was killed in the crash, the family was hospitalized and another dog is missing.
The 16-year-old husky named Fenway is deaf.
They say he is terrified of men and can be aggressive if cornered.
He does love jerky treats.
According to the East Mountain Pet Alert there was a possible sighting of Fenway near Pecos, but so far he is still missing.
If you spot him call the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Department or his owner at 303-827-6825.
