Girl Killed in Crash
New details Saturday morning in a deadly crash that killed a little girl. We know she was only 4-years-old. It happened near I-40 and Tramway in northeast Albuquerque around 6:30 p.m. Friday. Police say a car with a child in the backseat was heading north on Tramway. They say it pulled out in front of a car heading the other way. When it turned to head west on I-40, the two cars collided and the child was thrown from the vehicle. She was the only one taken to the hospital. Police say this crash is still under investigation but say alcohol and speed don’t appear to be factors.Silver Alert for Missing Former Deputy
The Roswell Police Department issued a silver alert for a former Chaves county sheriff’s deputy. 74-Year-old Sharon Berry, who suffers from dementia. was last seen by a family member Friday afternoon. She may be driving a white and black 2012 Toyota Tacoma pick up. And she may have a puppy with her. Berry was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. Several are facing charges for an alleged murder plot targeting the secretary of corrections, among others. Members of the gang “Syndicado Nuevo Mexico” are accused of plotting to kill Gregg Marcantel and another top prison officials. Eleven face charges, including reported gang leader Anthony Ray Baca. The gang members allegedly researched where they live, secured a gun to kill them, and identified a fellow member to pull it off. Not only are the gang members facing charges for the alleged murder plot, but they’ve also been hit with charges for past murders, assaults, and drug dealing.
