SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A city employee in Santa Fe was caught sleeping on the job, then came up with a creative way to prevent anyone else from catching him.
According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, Fabian Trujillo, who is the manager of the city’s Office of Business Growth, was heard snoring in his office last week.
He said he has been working long hours and nodded off for a few minutes.
The paper reports he vowed to not do it again, but this week a piece of red paper was spotted over the window on his door. He was ordered to remove it.
According to the New Mexican, Trujillo makes more than $80,000 per year.
