Sandia High students compete in annual Food Truck Challenge

A group of high schoolers battled it out to see who could run the best food truck.

Sandia High School held its sixth annual Food Truck Challenge on Wednesday.

Six teams of DECA and culinary arts students created their own food truck concept, offering hamburgers, street tacos, hot wings and more—and you better believe there was some trash talk between teams.

The team with the biggest profit receives an after-school celebration and t-shirts. The competition continues on Friday.
