Sandia High student disciplined after bringing box cutter to school

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A Sandia High School student was disciplined after bringing a box cutter to school.

Albuquerque Public Schools says it happened Thursday afternoon when a student saw it in the other student’s waistband and thought it was a gun.

The district says the box cutter was never used as a weapon but the student who brought it in was disciplined at the school.
