RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police say two Ruidoso police officers shot and killed a man Sunday morning.
According to a release, those officers were responding to a domestic disturbance and entered the home. At some point, those two officers fired, killing a man they came in contact with. It’s unclear how many times they fired or why they shot that man.
Both officers are now on standard paid leave. Their names and the names of the man they shot haven’t been released. State police is handling the investigation.
