Roswell zoo extended hours to start Memorial Day

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – With sweltering summer temperatures right around the corner, the Roswell zoo will be opening earlier so people can visit while it’s still cool.

Starting Memorial Day, zoo hours will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day except Tuesday.

Zoo officials say coming early is not only a good way to avoid the midday heat, it also gives visitors a chance to see more animals during feeding time.

Zoo admission is free.
