ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – A Roswell photographer who was arrested on child pornography charges is going to prison.
Jose Castillo, 24, owns “Photo Joey” in Roswell. Last month, the FBI and Roswell police searched computers at Castillo’s home and business and found explicit pictures of children.
Police don’t believe any of his customers were victims.
Under a plea agreement, Castillo pleaded no contest to some of the counts against him. The other counts were dropped.
Castillo was sentenced to four and a half years in prison. All but one of those years was suspended. If he behaves, he’ll never have to serve the other three.
