Albuquerque Animal Welfare officers have responded to some strange calls lately.

Over the last month, they rescued a goat found roaming, a family of ducklings and a badger.

Animal Control says the badger, which is an incredibly dangerous animal, was found near San Mateo and Gibson.

It’s unclear how it got there, but officers handed it over to the Wildlife Rescue to take it back to its home and out of the city.

The ducklings returned to the river, and the goat was eventually adopted.
