Realtor accused of murder requests leave from jail to attend father’s funeral

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque realtor charged with murder is trying once again to get out of jail.

Chris Pino is accused of hitting and killing a homeless man with his Hummer earlier this year after Pino claimed the man was breaking into his property.

Pino was released from jail on an ankle monitor, but then tested positive for meth and alcohol and was put back behind bars.

Now, he wants out to attend his father’s funeral. If the court allows it, Pino would be allowed out for the Rosary and burial, but only for 24 hours.
