QUESTA, N.M. (KRQE) – After more than a month without a water advisory, a New Mexico town finally has safe drinking water again.
Service has been restored at the Village of Questa. They have lifted the boil water advisory for nearly 2,000 residents.
The precautionary advisory was first issued on Dec. 7 after the village well went down.
There was the potential for contamination from leaks and low pressure as they worked to get water restored.
