Twenty dogs found in a dumpster on a New Mexico reservation have been rescued by a group in Colorado.

The mixed-breed dogs were found after someone heard them crying on the Navajo Nation.

The group says they had been there for about four days.

The animals were taken to Life is Ruff Foster Family in Denver where they are now getting ready for adoption.

The puppies are about four to six weeks old.
