ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A Black Lives Matter protest closed down streets in downtown Albuquerque Friday evening. The protest began on Lomas earlier in the evening by the district courthouse.

More than 60 people chanted and held signs, supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, some gave impassioned speeches. Officers blocked off at least one street Friday. Protesters marched down Lomas, with officers nearby.
