Prominent University of New Mexico professor dies

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – John Yeakel, a prominent professor of management and Latin American studies at the University of New Mexico has died.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, Yeakel was a prominent part of the New Mexico accounting community.

He died last Tuesday in Albuquerque after a fight with melanoma. He was 85-years-old.
