President Trump is set to meet with the crew of the Southwest Airlines flight that experienced an engine explosion, killing Albuquerque mother Jennifer Riordan.
Among the crew, will be the pilot who is from New Mexico.
Many of the passengers onboard call Captain Tammie Jo Shults a hero.
Shults is a fellow New Mexican who graduated from Tularosa High School back in 1979. She would go on to become one of the first women fighter pilots in the U.S. Navy.
She’s credited with keeping calm after the plane’s engine blew, killing Riordan.
Shults then landed the Boeing 737 safely.
