Power restored to 1,062 customers in northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A power outage in northwest Albuquerque affected 1,062 customers Thursday.

The power outage happened around 4:30 a.m. At this time, power has been restored to all but five customers.

PNM says the outage was caused by a pole that caught on fire in the area.

Traffic lights were out on Coors between Paseo del Norte and Montano during the morning commute causing some backups. The traffic lights at Coors and Paseo del Norte are still out at this time.
