Two bills considered by the legislature could impact some inmates, attending an Albuquerque charter school.

The Gordon Bernell Charter School helps adults transitioning back into society get a high school diploma. According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, two bills set an age limit of 21.

The school says 86 percent of students are 22 or older. If the bill passes, they say it would lose funding and be forced to close.
