NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – One of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s first cabinet appointees is leaving her post. Sarah Cottrell Propst is stepping down as Secretary of the Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department at the end of the year to take a job outside state government.
She has led the department since 2019. The administration is looking for a replacement.
