Lawmakers to discuss bill for better teen driver safety training

Politics - Government

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – State lawmakers will be discussing a bill focused on teen driver safety training. If passed, the bill would put $250,000 of funding into the Department of Transportation for the program.

It would aim to help teens better understand work zones, roadside vehicle troubles, and move-over laws. Lawmakers will then have to decide where teens will get this safety training.
