Gov. Martinez discusses border security with Pres. Trump

Politics - Government

New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez met with President Trump to discuss border security.

Martinez was one of four governors that attended a White House dinner Tuesday night.

The group worked on plans to tighten up the border and deal with those in the country illegally.

Trump says the nation’s immigration laws are the worst in the world.

Gov. Martinez recently answered Pres. Trump’s call for extra security deploying 60 New Mexico national guardsmen to the border.
