SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A new bill aiming to change up the standards for the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange is moving forward.

House Bill 100 would let the exchange board recommend standards for insurance plans. That includes allowing a certain number of primary care visits before a deductible kicks in or eliminating co-pays for behavioral health. The bill will now move on to the Senate Finance Committee.
