Bernalillo County considers paid time off for vendors that do work for county

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- The Bernalillo County Commission will consider extending the county’s paid time off ordinance.

Commissioners are deciding whether to approve a resolution that would make the ordinance apply to vendors that do business with the county. The Employee Wellness Act was passed in August.

The resolution would only apply to businesses that do work for the county that totals more than $20,000.
