Police investigate body found in northeast Albuquerque parking lot

News

Police are investigating yet another homicide in Albuquerque, making it the fifth homicide in four days.

Details are limited at this time, however, Albuquerque Police say officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of Constitution and Carlisle.

When officers arrived, they found a body in the shopping center, deeming it a full homicide call out.

Officers taped off the area as they worked to piece together what led to shots being fired.

KRQE News 13 cameras captured numerous police cruisers in the area and the CSI van.

We also saw what appears to be Smith’s store employees not being allowed to leave as they waited at the entrance of the store.

KRQE News 13 did reach out to APD. They say more information is expected to be released Tuesday morning.
