Police identify suspect in Santa Fe Walmart bomb scare


SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police are asking for help locating 30-year-old John Pacheco, in connection to a bomb threat at Santa Fe Walmart on Friday. 

A bomb threat was reported at the Walmart on Herrera Drive at Cerrillos Road around 2:30 p.m Friday afternoon.

Police say Pacheco was seen acting suspiciously while walking through the store before telling a cashier that he left a bomb in the building.

Police searched the area but were unable to find anything and the store was reopened.

Pacheco is described as 5-foot-10 and 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
