ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police have reopened Gibson Blvd after a suspicious package found near the Maxwell Housing area.
Albuquerque Police Department’s bomb squad assisted Kirtland Air Force Base Police with investigating the package and found nothing suspicious. Investigators cleared the area.
Kirtland Air Force Base spokesperson, Jim Fisher, says they evacuated the area for precautionary measures.
Police have reopened Gibson Blvd and canceled the evacuation.
