ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A month long child pornography investigation ended Wednesday morning.
Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department’s Ghost Unit, New Mexico Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation worked on this investigation since March of 2015 when they received a tip about a man dealing child porn.
According to the criminal complaint, the investigation concluded after authorities found pictures of children in sexual acts on that man’s computer. They have identified the man as Sergio Arias.
Officials say, Arias has a long history with sexual crimes and children.
Detectives say, they are still trying to get more information about the child victims involved in the investigation. Officials do encourage the public to call them at 505-886-1065 if they have any information on Arias.
