ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A California man who took down an armed robbery suspect in July is being called a hero by police.
The surveillance video of Cregg Jerri has gone viral. In the video, it shows Jerri taking on a robbery suspect at a California Starbucks who was carrying a knife and what appeared to be a real gun.
The suspect, Ryan Flores is now behind bars.
Cregg Jerri has a scar on his neck that is left behind from the struggle.
He finally made his first public appearance months after the incident. He was joined by his family and received a special thank you from Fresno Police.
