FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – People in Farmington braved frigid waters over the weekend for a good cause.
More than 30 participants representing about 10 teams participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge at Farmington Lake.
Participants included Farmington Police Chief Steve Hebbe.
To participate in the plunge, each person had to collect at least $100 in donations. All the money raised was donated to the Special Olympics.
