NMDOG presents an adorable, tiny force of life: Lil’ Dale Jr. as this week’s Pet of the Week.
Dale Jr. is a survivor of the infamous Dog Head Fire, one of the biggest wildland fires in New Mexico history. Dale Jr. is full of life and loves chasing balls, stuffed toys, and cats. Dale Jr. would do well in a home without cats, but with dogs — as he is very friendly and playful.
Dale Jr. is also in need of a foster home. Dale Jr. and the dozens of other rescue dogs given asylum from crisis situations around the state are in need of supplies, and every donation counts.
This weekend, NMDOG partner, 4 Wheel Parts will host a fundraising event. Food, drinks, games and a raffle will take place Saturday, March 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help Dale Jr. and many other rescues.
As an all-volunteer, foster based rescue 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue, NMDOG is always in need of new, approved foster homes.
If you see a dog you are interested in that says “in need of foster,” they are currently seeking a temporary foster home for that dog in order to provide them with the cozy and loving experience of a home environment while opening up space in the kennels to save another life.
There is never a cost to foster for NMDOG.
