Pet adoption trailer stolen from local non-profit

News

An anti-cruelty association that helps get pets adopted was struck by thieves.

The group PACA set up at the Sprouts in Albuquerque at San Mateo and Academy every Saturday with the goal of getting dogs to new homes.

Today when the group arrived to set up, the trailer was gone.

“The trailer had all of our dog crates, blankets, paperwork, money, supplies, leashes, harnesses, water buckets, feed buckets, feed buckets, food… Everything was in there. Everything,” said Arnielle Fernandez, volunteer.

The non-profit group is completely volunteer-based and says it is just trying to save animals and this loss greatly hinders that.

If you have any information on the trailer’s whereabouts, call Albuquerque police.
