The state took over the district’s finances in November.

The PED also said Superintendent Eric Martinez isn’t following the law, including hiring people without licenses.

Martinez also rehired controversial basketball coach, Richard Martinez.

The PED said the coach’s relatives have been confronting students and teachers in school for reporting the coach while Martinez looks the other way.

The department has given Martinez 30 days to address the problems or face suspension.
