Parties planned, free rides offered for St. Patty’s Day

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

If you’re looking for some traditional Irish grub, head on over to the Albuquerque Convention Center tonight for the 64th annual Brother Mathias corned beef and cabbage dinner. The event will be filled with live music, entertainment and games for children from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for kids.

Those looking for some adult fun can head over to the Rail Yards for bagpipes and beer. Kaktus Brewing Company will be out there from 4 to 9 p.m. The event is for adults 21 and older. Admission is $31 which includes a commemorative cup and three beers.Free Rides

A free service willing to take you home is Bernalillo County’s tavern taxi program which will operate from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The ride is free; just have a bartender or server call for the pickup.
