A Clovis parent is facing charges accused of making threats against his child’s middle school.
Clovis Police say they rushed to Gattis Middle School after school officials reported 33-year-old Carlos Anchondo was threatening to shoot up the school Wednesday.
According to The Eastern New Mexico News, the superintendent says Anchondo made the threats known to the custodian.
Clovis Police say Anchondo was angry he had not been given information about his child’s attendance.
Police put the mid and high school on lockdown as they searched for Anchondo.
Anchondo was arrested for interfering with the educational process.
