A long term processing shelter for migrants in southern New Mexico is scheduled to finally open Monday. The facility is a former U.S. Army Reserve outpost with room to support up to 170 migrants at a time.

The city of Las Cruces was set to debut the center Friday. The city now says the debut would be delayed until Monday at the earliest.
